My lao sai episode

started to lao sai today and didn't recover till 2-3 weeks later. Saw PD 3 times and they said need to wait for it to clear, and it should be fine as long as no dehydration. wah ..... LS until ka nerng .... hahaha

Colic - arghhhhhhh!!!

I cry until so cham already daddy still capture this stupid video!

This was captured during my usual daily cranky period in my 2nd/3rd month. As usual, daddy and mummy did not manage to calm me down and this was captured after more than half an hour of crying and screaming.... that is why i look like 没有力了.

PD diagnosed me with colic and commented that I am addicted to latching on. So for the past 2 days I was not given any human pacifier in order to kick my bad habit, if not jialat if mummy go back to work in future. So without the human pacifier .... i was super cranky!!! cannot blame me wat ... i colic liow still dun give me human pacifier ....

Daddy and mummy tried the following ways to soothe me when I'm super cranky ......
1) carry him and walk - useless
2) sing song - sometimes can, most of the time cannot
3) soothing music - seems useless
4) switch on aircon - useless
5) colic drop - don't seem to work
6) put him in sarong - useless
7) pacifier - useless unless he manage to calm down first
8) bathe with "红花" - useless
9) get an amulet for him - useless
10) put daddy's trousers on top of his sarong - useless
11) switch on hairdryer/ vacuum cleaner - it worked! must quicky put in the pacifier once he calms down
12) mimick his cry close in front of him - he will stop for a short while and look at you with "you siow ar?" that kind of look
13) play back the below video with his crying sound in front of him - it worked! must quicky put in the pacifier once he calms down
14) change formula milk to lactose free - useless

Full Month Celebration

There was a full month celebration for me ....but do you know why there were no photos of guests at all? Hahaha ...because I was quite cranky today ...so much so that daddy and mummy 手忙脚乱 。。。 哈哈哈.

My long long Birth Story

14 July Friday

6.20am - Mummy admitted to KK Delivery Suite for induction. Need to induce cos my movement getting lesser.

6.50am - Only 1 cm dilated. Gynae inserted the prostin pill. 2 hrs later transferred mummy to normal ward to wait.

6.10pm - Transferred to delivery suite to check dilation. Dilated 1.5cm. Gynae inserted 2nd prostin pill

9.30pm - While watching TV, mummy suddenly felt some watery discharge. Mummy and daddy thought its normal so continue to watch TV. Then suddenly mummy felt a gush of water coming down and nurse confirmed that waterbag had burst by itself. We were then immediately pushed to the delivery ward.

10.10pm - Midwife informed Gynae and Gynae advised to proceed and give epidural first before doing VE (as mummy had earlier requested for epidural and gynae knows that mummy is terrified of VE). More contractions started coming and Anaesthetist came and administered epidural into mummy's spine. Damn painful. But after that, no more contraction pain . Mummy call it "happy"dural.

11.00pm - Gynae came and check. Only 3cm dilated.

15 July Friday

2.15am - contractions reducing, getting lesser and further apart. Midwife then put mummy on oxytoxin drip to aid dilation. Started with a 3ml/hr dosage. Dosage slowly increased to 24ml/hr when no improvements in contractions.

4.15am - Midwife did a VE and found that its only 4cm dilated. After checking with another midwife, she increased the oxytoxin dosage to the max of 30ml/hr.

6.30am - Midwife did another VE and found that its about 8cm dilated. Happily informed mummy and daddy that I am will be making my grand appearance at about 8am.

7.25am - Gynae came and did VE. Informed that its 10cm dilated and showed daddy my hair. As mummy have no urge to push, so continue to wait. Actually i waiting for "liang2 chen2 ji2 re4" to come out.

8.10am - Midwife came and informed that epidural ending so ask mummy to start pushing. Contractions getting more and more painful as epidural ended. Pushed and pushed and pushed ......pain, pain and more pain for mummy. Mummy pushed for nearly an hour until no more strength.

9.03am - I have arrived!!!

after that mummy vomitted twice and got fever some more .... Luckily mummy went to induce cos the embical cord was one round around my neck and one round around my body. Luckily the cord is long enough... if not I'll be strangled!!!!!!!
